New Moon Premiere

On November 19th (the night before the New Moon opening) I was invited by my friend Sarah to join her and two other of our close friends to go to the premiere in downtown Seattle. We had to have VIP passes just to get into the theater...let me tell you we felt pretty cool :)

When we got to the theater we were able to go right in and find our seats instead of waiting in line, however to get our seats together we had to be there about 3 hours early. So we sat in the seats and visited, took turns going for drinks and to the bathroom, and the time went quickly. We also noticed that we raised the average age of movie goers by about 10 years :) But we definitely didn't mind.

I would totally recommend watching this film...especially if you were turned off by the first movie. This one is much better. Although, if you haven't read the books yet then do that first. The books are always much better and they are worth the read! But as a little disclaimer - the 4 books are definitely young adult fiction - geared towards teenage girls.

This was a great way to cap off 2009. What a treat to see the movie ahead of most people. I have great friends! Here we are with our collector New Moon cups.
