Waterville Reunion

The last weekend in August we were in Waterville for Zach's 10-year reunion. He graduated with 23 students...yes I said 23 - and about half made it back to town. Here are two highlights of the weekend:

1) Zach, after a month long grow out, shaved off his beard into a handle bar mustache. Let's just say he fit in well with the Douglas County Fair atmosphere!

His good friend, Mike Brandt, also shaved his beard into a mustache. All they needed were some badges right?!

Getting ready to head to the Waterville Fair for some lunch. We couldn't miss out on those yummy and memorable Pronto Pups.

2) Saturday evening we invited some of Zach's classmates and their spouses back to the Gormley's house for a bbq. There was a lot of reminiscing about "the glory days" of Waterville High. We pulled out some old yearbooks and laughed about how much everyone had changed. Kieth and Jackie Finkbeiner stayed with us that night; they were in town from Pinehurst, Idaho. It was great to catch up with everyone.
