A Lady Knights Reunion

Back in March, a group of girls who I played basketball with, got together for our friend Karen's Bachelorette party. We decided then to have a reunion this summer so that we could spend more time together. It didn't take much effort and we all had a date on the calendar.

Earlier in the week, our Bball coach from WVC had a going away party. A few of us who were in town were able to attend. Even though I've been gone from the program for 10 years, it was still sad for me to see Coach Azurdia go. He was a great coach and will be missed!

That Saturday we were able to spend the day relaxing at the cabin in Chelan, and then we went back into town for dinner and drinks. It was a really nice time to connect again and thankfully we got a great day in the sun.

We played our paddle ball game and we came up with a new name for it - "Nice -n- Easy" because that's what we kept saying over and over to each other. We also were up for the challenge of the new record and, of course, we smashed it and set the new (unattainable) record of 194.

We spent some time on the boat - searching for warmer water to swim in - and found it across the lake.

Dinner was fun but the conversations were better. And all the reminiscing!

And just because, here is a cute picture of Graham hanging out with all the ladies. He's such a charmer.

Hopefully we can make this an annual event!
