Once again we were the lucky recepients of an invitation to Priest Lake. We packed up our little Graham and made the 4 hour drive to see our friends Josh, Jamie, & Brendan. Once we got there we settled in to the Rydbom's comfy lake home and enjoyed "ringing" in the new year with everyone.
And Josh - just for you - One day we must literally ring in the new year - I'll needs some bells for that one.
New Years Eve the 4 of us made gingerbread houses. Jamie had this great idea and provided all the goodies. I hadn't made a house in years - maybe decades. There was only one minor mishap - you'll see the evidence in a few pictures.

| It was a sticky process! |
As I was working on my creation, the top of my baggy of icing popped open...the result? Icing all over my lap. What did the others do? Just laugh! No one bothered to help me clean up my mess until Jamie's mom came over to see what the noise was all about. Thanks Carol...you are my only true friend.

We have a bet on who would win the house making competition. If you comment, could you pick the number attached to your favorite house? It would give the maker some serious bragging rights.
On Saturday, Mike and Carol were kind enough to watch Graham while we went snow-shoeing. The same golf course we played in August, was now covered with beautiful snow. We got a great day to take a walk. Little Brendan was such a trooper. He didn't make one peep and loved every minute of it.
Thanks Josh and Jamie for a wonderful time. We love you!
