Every summer for Zach's work, there is a "PUD Challenge" between the 3 PUDs - Chelan, Douglas, & Grant County. The challenge involves a 5k run & 1k run/walk. Those competing for their PUDs score points based on their finishes. The traveling trophy went to Douglas PUD this year - thanks in part because of the Gormley/Haley finishes!
This year Zach and my dad ran the 5k, while I completed the 1k. Here are our results in our age categories:
3rd place (7th overall in 5k) - Pat Haley
2nd place (not sure overall in 5k) - Zach Gormley
1st place (1k walk) - Kim Gormley

The trophies were made out of old bolts!
