Holiday Decor

Because we didn't get back into our house until we were into December and then we didn't get our home decorated until after that, I don't feel that we had up the wonderful Christmas decorations for long enough. As I write this, the tree is back in the basement, the decorations are neatly packed back into their tubs, and the shelves have been dusted and "restocked" with the usual items.

I did take half a day to really organize my shelves and built-ins before putting everything back - what better time to organize than when you're changing things over!

Even though it's all down now, I wanted to show you just a few of my favorite areas in the living room.

Next year my goal is to get it all up and in order by the end of Thanksgiving weekend. It's my favorite - so why not?

p.s. for those of you who are really good with your cameras and editing your pics - I apologize about the quality of these...I'm still learning :)
